Our Story

Emily and Scott met at Roger Williams University in 2002 when Scott was a Freshman and Emily was a Sophomore. They served together on Student Senate and lived in the same dormitory, Stonewall 4. 

After graduating in 2005 & 2006, both stayed in Rhode Island and attended Roger Williams for graduate and law school. In 2009, they moved to North Providence and were engaged in April 2010.

Emily and Scott were married (twice in the same day!) on August 27th, 2011 at the Wilbraham Pheasant Farm and the Hotel Northampton surrounded by family and friends. 

Today, these two college sweethearts have two children, Quintin (11) and Beckham (8) and each own their own businesses: Carlson & Dumeer, LLC and We Do Travel Right, LLC. 

With so many sad things that have happened over the past five years, including the loss of Emily's Mother and Father, they are both very excited to celebrate something happy. Emily and Scott are looking forward to renewing their lifelong commitment to each other and their family at their favorite place, Disney's Castaway Cay in the Bahamas.
